I am grateful to have received and excited to share this information regarding our members K. D. Keckler and Linda Ruddy:

Linda Ruddy and K D Keckler are pleased to announce their artworks were selected for publication in WALL Literary Journal 2024.  The WALL literary journal is an award-winning publication featuring poetry, short stories, personal narratives, photographs, and artwork selected among submissions from students at Saddleback College. 

Ruddy’s ink and acrylic “Transformation” and Keckler’s collage “Open” are below.  In connection with the release of WALL, a public reading will be held from 1:30-3:15 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 18in SSC 212. Writers and artists featured in WALL Literary Journal will read from their work or discuss their artwork.

Many thanks to Inna Makarichev and K.D. Keckler for letting me know of additional honors received in our club!  I’ll be requesting that again at the end of my letter.  You guys sharing with me is how I have information on what you’re up to out there beyond the gates.

I’m excited to share our member Inna Makarichev’s success in the recent San Clemente Art Association Show.  She won a honorable mention in the acrylics category, for her striking cat family piece - My Family - Mom Dad Sister Me. Congratulations Inna!
